The YEScarolina program is tailored for South Carolina Public
School educators in grades 6 - 12 statewide. While this curriculum
has often been employed in entrepreneurship and other business
classes, the skill-set required for strategic planning, niche
market research, and business development incorporate math,
language, social studies, economics, government, history,
and even science. Any teacher in search of a unique and successful
method to reach
YEScarolina plans schedules and facilitates NFTE Certified
Entrepreneurship Teacher (CET) training classes and additional
supplemental CET training classes in cooperation with South
Carolina colleges and universities and the South Carolina
Department of Education. This opportunity is
offered without cost to South Carolina Public School educators.
Each teacher accepted into the YEScarolina program will
receive a scholarship to pay for the instruction, materials,
and future support. The value of this scholarship
is approximately $1000. The class also counts
toward South Carolina teachers continuing education requirements.
