YEScarolina is proud to announce that
Aimee Gray is our 2007 South Carolina Entrepreneur Teacher
of the Year!

Aimee Gray, a teacher at Crescent High School was honored
for her commitment to increasing education and economic opportunities
for students. Mrs. Gray, along with 11 other entrepreneurship
teachers, was selected to attend a four day event at the
College of Charleston. This elite group of teachers was provided
with accommodations at a lovely bed and breakfast in the
heart of Charleston. All included teachers participated
in a variety of activities such as advanced training opportunities
as well as lunch with Charleston’s Mayor Riley and
guest speaker, Steve Mariotti, the founder of the National
Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE).
At the YEScarolina Awards banquet, Aimee Gray was
recognized as the YEScarolina Entrepreneurship Teacher of
the Year! Aimee attended the YEScarolina entrepreneurship
training session hosted by Clemson University. We are so
proud of you, Aimee.
YEScarolina is a non-profit organization that provides public
school teachers training in entrepreneurship. The teachers
are provided the materials and the curriculum to become certified
entrepreneurship teachers at no cost to them. To date, YEScarolina
has trained over 320 teachers across the state.
