Our Projects
Competitions
YEScarolina hosts in-school competitions and a state business plan competition. Students have the opportunity to participate in a series of business plan competitions as a part of their entrepreneurship class curriculum. Students build their business plan over the course of their class. Once completed, they will present their ideas to local businessmen and women serving as judges. The top students are eligible to win seed money ranging from $100 to $3,000 throughout the course of the competitions to help fund the creation of their businesses.
Camps
YEScarolina provides opportunities to take an experiential deep dive into how to create a microbusiness. Campers study entrepreneurship concepts guiding them to a personalized path to financial freedom. Check out our virtual camp opportunities for summer 2020.
Sharks In the Classroom
Entrepreneurship students are completing Sharks in the Classroom Activities, a virtual assignment. Students learn about our "sharks"- entrepreneurs who represent local communities in South Carolina.
Scholarships
In partnership with Trident Technical College, YEScarolina provides scholarships for the pursuit of post-secondary education. Our scholarships are in honor of the contributions made by YEScarolina found members Kathy Elsner, Bill Hall, Jimmy Bailey, and Tommy Baker.
